    St. Luke's Hospital Foundation Board Member Susan McHugh and Polk County Schools Superintendent Bill Miller are helping young runners in our community meet a fitness challenge and participate in this year's Ache Around the Lake. McHugh and Miller have created a special sponsorship of $500 so that any child in an area school running club (in Polk County or Landrum) can join in the fun on Sept. 24 at no cost! Children must pre-register through their school running club to enter the race and receive a race T-shirt no later than Sept. 14.

    Are you up for The Millard & Co. Challenge? Break the Ache 8K course record and win $250! Male Record is held by Stuart Moran with a time of 25:01 and Female Record is held by Amber Moran with a time of 30:44.
